On Thursday, October 22, Dr. John Gatta, President and CEO of ECRA Group, presented the latest research and findings from the Illinois Consortium to Advance English Learner Program Effectiveness at Moline-Coal Valley School District. His presentation highlighted important findings related to English Learner proficiency benchmarks, state accountability measures, and new approaches to measuring student growth and evaluating program effectiveness. The findings provide valuable insights to help Illinois school districts better understand English Learner performance and make informed decisions that support student success.
